Deborra-Lee Furness is ready to tell her side of the story.

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife has reportedly signed a book deal following their dramatic divorce.

“Hugh had heard about Deb’s plans but he didn’t really know until she told him herself during their secret meet–up,” an insider told Women’s Daily, according to the Daily Mail.

“He’d been warned early on that almost every A-list divorcee is approached to write a book but part of him hoped Deb wouldn’t take that fat publisher’s cheque,” the insider added.

Furness, 69, allegedly plans to open up about her 27-year marriage to the “X-Men” actor, 57, adopting and raising their children Ava and Oscar, and her life post-divorce in the book.

A source also claimed that Furness’ move is not “revenge,” but rather a way for the Australian actress “to find her voice, put herself first and reignite her career.”

British journalist Rob Shuter also reported that Furness recently met with a top publisher in New York City to make plans for her book.

“She was all smiles, but it looked serious,” said a publishing insider who allegedly saw Furness leaving a major publisher’s building in Midtown.

“She’s reclaiming her voice,” Furness’s friend told Shuter. “She spent years being known as Hugh’s wife. Now she wants to be known for her truth.”

Shuter reported that Furness’s book is being described as a “bold, emotional memoir about love, identity, and starting over.”

Jackman and Furness announced their split in September 2023. Furness officially filed for divorce in May and they finalized the divorce one month later.

The “Greatest Showman” actor has since moved on with his former Broadway co-star Sutton Foster.

Sources claimed to Us Weekly last year that the coupling “is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced” and that Furness had “suspicions” about her husband working with Foster.

“I think many people were shocked [Hugh] could do this to her, especially as she’s the mother of his children, and they’ve navigated three decades of life together,” a friend to the former couple previously said. “A little respect may have been in order.”

Jackman and Foster, 50, recently confirmed their romance by making their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of Jackman’s new movie, “Song Sung Blue,” in Los Angeles.

Foster filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, “Ocean’s Eleven” screenwriter Ted Griffin, around the time that news broke of her and Jackman’s romance.
