Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams Makes Red Carpet Debut With Girlfriend at Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Hudson Williams was straight up blushing at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Indeed, ahead of the Heated Rivalry star winning Best Lead Performer in a Drama Series at the 2026 award show May 31, he began the evening alongside longtime girlfriend Katelyn Larson and his parents.

For the ceremony at the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Hudson stepped out in a chocolate brown Dolce & Gabbana suit and a white silk button-up shirt, which he accessorized with a tasseled statement necklace and sparkling hoop earrings. Meanwhile, Katelyn—who made her red carpet debut with Hudson at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars party in March—opted for a sleek black long-sleeved midi dress.

His mom Sunny Williams matched him in a form-fitting off-the-shoulder gown and his dad kept it classic with a black suit.

And when Hudson became the youngest person in CSA history to win the category at just 25 years old for his role as Shane Hollander in the hockey romance opposite Connor Storrie's Ilya Rozanov, his parents and Katelyn were among those to whom he expressed gratitude.

"I didn't write a speech but I do have a little thank-you list," he admitted onstage. "My mom and dad for always believing in me and never letting this dream become something that I shouldn't believe in. My partner Katelyn, love you. Thank you so much for always keeping me stable 'cause sometimes I'm not."

He was also sure to thank author Rachel Reid—who previously revealed that Unrivaled, the seventh novel in her Game Changers series, is currently in the works—show creator Jacob Tierney and executive producer Brendan Brady.

But the person he was especially grateful for while accepting the award? His onscreen love and IRL bestie, Connor.

"If I could cut this award down the middle, I would," Hudson emphasized. "Because if these gay, yearning little bottom eyes didn't have a big, sexy Russian to feast upon, my performance wouldn't be as good. So, to the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you."

As fans wait to see Hudson and Connor reunite in Heated Rivalry season two—which is set to begin filming in August—keep reading for more upcoming binge-worthy TV shows.
