Travis Kelce’s game-day outfit gave a subtle nod to Taylor Swift’s recent look ahead of his Kansas City Chiefs game against the Detroit Lions Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end rolled up to Arrowhead Stadium wearing khakis, sunglasses and a plaid Louis Vuitton shirt in beige and navy hues.
The pattern of his shirt was nearly identical to the tartan skirt that Swift wore while grabbing dinner in New York City Tuesday night.
As Page Six reported, Swift rocked the Miu Miu mini as she was seen entering West Village hotspot, The Eighty Six, solo.
This isn’t the first time Kelce has drawn inspiration from the pop star’s fondness for plaid pieces.
In November 2024, the NFL player attended his Chiefs game against the Panthers in a plaid We11done blue and red half-zip shirt ($1,461).
The outfit was an interesting choice considering Swift had been making a habit of stepping out in plaid ensembles.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, 35, famously wore a red checkered blazer skirt set from Versace while attending his game against the Denver Broncos in November 2024.
A month prior, she opted for a plaid corset and skirt two-piece by Vivienne Westwood for his match-up against the New Orleans Saints.

Other memorable plaid ensembles included a black-and-white coat and skirt by Carolina Herrera for a girls’ night out, and her 2024 VMAs outfit, which consisted of an eye-catching yellow bustier with a matching train over hot pants.
On Sunday, Swift was in the stands cheering for Kelce, 36, from a private suite as he took on the Detroit Lions.
In the VIP suite, Swift was joined by Caitlin Clark. The WNBA superstar and Swift were spotted schmoozing up a storm.
In another sweet moment, Swift was seen giving a warm hug to Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, who was wearing his son’s jersey number.
Swift, for her part, wore a black Chiefs jersey, fun gold dangling earrings and a gold necklace.
She also went with a playful silver manicure for her fiancé’s home game.
