2025 has been a dream season in almost every way for Aquinas. The Falcons are 25-2, ranked 17th in the country and rising, well-rested, and entering the postseason on a 10-game winning streak.
But the road is about to get harder. After a first round bye, Aquinas opens the playoffs against formidable Villa Park (23-6), which is already in playoff form after a tense 8-7 opening win against Bishop Amat. Aquinas, on the other hand, is as fresh as can be, jumping back into action after two weeks without games.

Jake Nobles, one of California's premier uncommitted high school baseball players, was incendiary for Villa Park in the Bishop Amat win. The senior was credited with the win on the mound with three scoreless innings, and also led the Spartans at the plate going 2-2 with a home run, three RBIs, and two walks. Nobles is batting .385 with a 1.037 OPS and has been even better on the mound, allowing not a single earned run and just four runs total in 37.1 innings.
Among Aquinas' star-studded cast is Miami-bound outfielder Mason Greenhouse, who bats .417 and leads the team with six home runs, 37 RBI, 35 hits, 33 runs scored, and a 1.306 OPS.
