In this anticipated title, players must join a secret operation where they explore and unlock the secrets of a mysterious island.

How to sign up

Requesting access to the PUBG Black Budget playtest is quite simple. This is how you do it:

  • Open Steam from either your browser or the application.
  • After ensuring that you are signed in using your account, head to the Store.
  • Type this in the search box "PUBG: Black Budget" and click on the game from the dropdown menu.
  • After the official Steam page opens up, scroll down to find a "Request Access" button

This will add you to the playtest queue. You will receive an email upon selection. In addition to that, the game will also be added to your library screen.

Regions and timing of availability

The Closed Alpha playtest for PUBG Black Budget will be available for two consecutive weekends in December 2025.

  • December 12 to 14 PST
  • December 19 to 21 PST

During these test sessions, only the first-person perspective will be available. Additionally, the PUBG Black Budget Closed Alpha is only available on PC (Steam) as of now. Players across North America, Europe, and Asia will be able to access the test sessions.

Guaranteed access to the PUBG Black Budget playtest can be secured by heading over to the official Twitch and Chzzk channels and acquiring keys in the form of Drops.
