Overload is a new multiplayer mode in Black Ops 7 that is now available to play. Here, two teams of six players each must carry the Overload Machine and deliver it to designated zones. A match timer determines which squad comes out on top.

Overload features 16 different maps, each with its own strategies. It’s a teamwork-focused, strategy-driven mode where coordination is key to winning.

Everything you need to know about Overload in Black Ops 7

Overload in Black Ops 7 works much like a team deathmatch, but with a twist. Two teams of six players each fight to capture and deliver the Overload Device into the enemy’s territory. At the start of the match, the device will be placed right in the middle of the map, and a five-minute timer will begin.

Each team is tasked with capturing the device, delivering it to the designated site, and protecting it from the enemy so that they cannot capture it. Once the first half ends, another five-minute round starts, where both teams switch sides and jump back into the fight.

The team that got the device will have two zones: A and B, where they can deliver it. On the other hand, the team without the device must stop them from delivering the same.

Interestingly, you can respawn without any limits if you die during a fight. However, the question arises: how do you win? Well, it’s simple. Deliver the device to either enemy site, and your team earns one point. To win the match, a squad must reach eight points or have more points than the opponent before the timer expires.

If the timer runs out and both teams have the same score, a sudden-death round begins, which will eventually determine the victory. Although you need eight points to secure a victory, most matches end when the timer runs out.
