Diablo 4 Season 10 has introduced Chaos Perks as part of its seasonal power system. These perks are designed to alter how your skills work in the game, offering new ways to craft your builds. They provide unique bonuses to every build but require you to manage risk and reward to maximize their effectiveness in combat.

Each Chaos Perk offers unique and powerful bonuses that can boost your build mechanics, defensive capabilities, or buff offensive ones. However, these bonuses come with certain drawbacks, which include cooldown penalties, defense reduction, or resource drain debuffs.
Players can use Chaos Perks to create different combinations, making their builds unique. Each player is allowed to equip up to three non-Unique Chaos Perks and a single Unique Chaos Perk, allowing them to experiment with multiple variations.

- Killing an enemy generates two stacks of Chaos, and dealing direct damage to a boss generates five stacks of Chaos. At 100 stacks, unleash a salvo of 9 Chaotic Bursts, dealing 300-500% of your highest damage type.
- Your Chaotic Bursts gain 30%[+] Critical Strike Chance, and deal 100-200%[x] increased damage.
2) Brawn Over Brains
Brawn Over Brains grants the following:
- 100-200% [x] Maximum Life
- +50-100% Healing Received
- 75-125%[x] Overpower Damage
However, your Maximum Resistances will be reduced by 25%, and your damage reduction from Armor will be capped at 60%.
3) A Beast Cornered
- For every 10% Life you are missing, you gain 10-20% [x] increased damage and 5% damage reduction.
- Spending Resources also drains a percentage of your Life equal to 30% the Resources spent, refunding those Resources. This cannot reduce you to below 10% Life.

How do you unlock Chaos Perks in Diablo 4?

All Magic, Rare, and Legendary Chaos Perks can be unlocked by progressing the Season 10 reputation path. Reputations can be earned by finishing seasonal activities, Infernal Hordes, and Chaos Rift activities in Diablo 4.
Meanwhile, Unique Chaos Perks are special and can only be unlocked after beating Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, during Infernal Hordes (Torment I or above).
At the end of every Infernal Horde, you will get the choice to face the Fell Council or increase the challenge by facing Bartuc. This boss fight is the only way to acquire Unique Chaos perks and armor in Diablo 4 Season 10 (drops are guaranteed in Torment 3 and 4).

Infernal Warps can be earned from:
- Infernal Hordes
- Chaos Rifts inside Helltide events and Nightmare Dungeons.
Upgrading a Chaos Perk enhances its secondary Unique effect and its values. Make sure you upgrade the perks you will be using to increase the core damage of your build and its survivability in the endgame of Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 Season 10 offers a ton of Chaos Perks for players to experiment with; every combination feels different, so try mixing general and class-specific perks to see which one synergizes well with your playstyle.
Chaos Perks are designed to boost your gameplay and build’s core functionality, but they can come with serious drawbacks.
While you will get access to most perks (Magic to Legendary) relatively easily, Uniques can only drop from Bartuc. Make this boss an early priority when running Infernal Hordes. Unlocking Unique Chaos Perks early is key to mastering the system and finding the perfect combination for your build in the game.
