Unlock requirements for getting Groudon in Pokemon Legends Z-A DLC

For the mission that will lead you to Groudon to be available, you must complete the first part of the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6, where you must defeat and catch Darkrai. After this, you must complete another Hyperspace Lumiose survey and bring Ansha the Hoennian Salt.

This will unlock Mission 13 and 14, of which the former is called A Ruby-Red Legend and will lead to a battle and encounter with Groudon.

How to make the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut

You need Hyperspace Berries to craft the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut. Here are the flavor profile requirements for this treat:

• 260 points in sweet
• 160 points in spicy
• 160 points in sour
• 20 in bitter
• 260 in fresh

What berries contribute to which taste profile will be shown to you before you mix them in, so be careful with the recipe. Hyperspace Berries can be found by destroying floating Poke Balls.

How to find and defeat Groudon and Primal Groudon in Pokemon Legends Z-A DLC

Once you have the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut, go to the Ruby Distortion in Jaune Sector 11. This will take you to the Desolate Land Distortion in the Hyperspace, where you can find Groudon.

Tips to defeat Groudon and Primal Groudon in Pokemon Legends Z-A DLC

The battle against Groudon is two-fold. First, you must take down Groudon's regular form, which will be at level 200. Base Groudon is a mono-Ground-type. This means Water-, Grass-, and Ice-type attacks are super-effective against it.

Once you defeat Groudon, it will undergo Primal Reversion, and you must face Primal Groudon at level 200. Now a Ground- and Fire-type, it takes double super-effective damage from Water-type moves and single super-effective damage from Ground-type attacks.

Here is the recommended team to deal with Groudon and Primal Groudon in Pokemon Legends Z-A:

• Feraligatr (replace Crunch with Earthquake)
• Greninja
• Gyarados
• Garchomp
• Salamence (replace one of the attacks with Hydro Pump)
• Darkrai

It goes without saying that your Pokemon must be maxed out for these battles and you must be able to dodge incoming attacks efficiently.

Aftet you win the boss fights, you will get a chance to capture Groudon and receive the Red Orb. It will be at level 80 and have the following attacks:

• Precipice Blades
• Solar Beam
• Fire Blast
• Scorching Sands
