Shen Yiren is the final boss of the Twelve Years of Feuds quest in Where Winds Meet, where you will see a glimpse of Zheng E's past and how the event shaped him to become the ruthless politician he is. At the very end of the mission, you will come face-to-face with this Khitan leader.

Best builds

You should use here is a DPS build in Where Winds Meet, utilizing either the Strategic Sword or the Infernal Twinblades combination with a Bleed or DoT-based damage setup.

The Damage-over-Time mechanic can slowly drain both your enemy's HP and Qi Bar, allowing you to easily incapacitate or defeat them. The Twinblade/ Rope Dart setup is currently extremely strong, followed by the Strategic Sword, making these the best combinations to go with.

• The boss will start the fight by sending a set of his minions at you. Make sure to press the QTE button so that you kill them first, making the fight a bit easier.
• The boss will fly at you with his spear. Parry or dodge this.
• Shen Yiren's move set is a set of spear strikes, with a kick, and then following it up with a slam. All of these attacks can be parried.
• Shen Yiren has three moves with his arrows: A volley that you will need to dodge, a fast arrow that will deal a ton of damage, and a third one is him firing a set of arrows. Except for the first one, both can be parried.
• The ideal way to fight him is by staying extremely close to him.
