The Disruption mission in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 takes place right after Escalation, and is one of the simpler ones in the game. Unlike earlier missions, it's more focused on stealth at first, and even features many tight indoor areas in the later sections. In this mission, your main goal is to secure the Quantum Computer and reach the top of the Kawauso Tower for extraction.

On that note, here's a complete walkthrough of the Disruption mission in Call of Duty Black Ops 7.

Complete guide for the Disruption mission in Black Ops 7

The Disruption mission has four main progression points:

  • Infiltrate the ship and search for the VIP.
  • Disable the lockdown in the Forge.
  • Secure the Quantum Computer.
  • Reach the top of Kawauso Tower for extraction.

Here's a step-by-step guide to complete this mission:

Find the VIP

The mission begins on a yacht filled with enemy patrols. You can decide whether you want to go stealthy or start shooting immediately. If you alert the guards, there will be reinforcements from nearby rooms and balconies, making the mission significantly harder. If you take the stealth route, take out the outside guards silently and then slowly clear the interior without rushing.

Once the first section is cleared, follow the objective marker, and you will find a hatch that takes you deeper into the ship. There will be tight hallways, and the path to the objective could get confusing, so make sure to stick with your team. One of the corridors will lead you to the boardroom, in which there's a locked door where the objective marker ends. Interact with it to reach the VIP.

Unfortunately, a cutscene reveals that the VIP is already dead, and now, the mission completely shifts into a combat-heavy phase, even if you preferred going stealthy at the beginning.

Push through to the Forge

Right after the cutscene ends, you will be swarmed by enemy drones and robots. You can easily clear them as there are many areas to take cover. Now, head towards the ship's cockpit and interact with the control panel to trigger a ship crash sequence. This would send you toward the Forge.

Keep going forward until you can drop into the next chamber. Clear the enemies and go inside the elevator to get the next objective marker. However, interacting with the escalator gives us an error due to a security lockdown. Go left beneath the control platform to find a door that leads you to another corridor.

Continue on the path and eliminate the enemy waves until you reach the Security Room. You can get through by simply breaking the lock mechanism in the left corner of the room. Interact with the terminal and complete a short hacking puzzle to disable the lockdown.

In this puzzle, you have to rotate all the pieces to make a continuous hexagonal pattern that connects from one end to another. Once the puzzle is completed, return to the elevator.

While going back, you will be stuck in a room with a protected Guild Turret. Start by disabling its protection mechanism with the use of EMP grenades. Now, enter the elevator, take out the enemies, and go to the upper floor. The path from here on is mostly straightforward.

Retrieve data from the Quantum Computer

Follow the hallway that leads to a large chamber that contains the Quantum Computer. Upon interaction, it starts a defense segment where numerous enemies attempt to break through the doors. Play it safe and keep defending the room until the next objective update arrives on the screen. Retrieve the drive from the console and prepare to escape.

You will enter a tunnel that is blocked by some enemy vehicles. Eliminate them all and enter the door on the left. Keep following the objective marker until you find a broken ladder. Use the wall jump to climb it and enter an empty subway station. Climb onto the platform and exit to the city streets.

From here, climb to the top level of the train station. Do note that the enemies are scattered all across the platforms and balconies, so make sure to take cover whenever possible. Jump through the roof of the buildings until you find an arcade. Eliminate the enemy robots and take the path to your left.

Keep pushing forward until you find a zipline through a tower crane to another roof, and follow your objective marker. Eliminate the enemies and enter the elevator to reach the top of the Kawauso Tower.

Once you arrive, a hostile Advanced Guild VTOL starts attacking you. Take cover and use the rocket launchers or explosives to take it down. You will be asked to charge the EN12 to destroy the VTOL's shield. Once the aircraft goes down, the rooftop is clear, and the Disruption mission comes to an end.
