How to complete Deciphering the Data quest in ARC Raiders

Deciphering the Data is a new quest from Shani in ARC Raiders that arrived with the Cold Snap update. It is a fairly simple job with two main goals: visit specific sites and destroy the data stored there. You do not even need to clear both objectives in a single run, which takes the pressure off. The only real challenge is finding the specific panels you need to sabotage.

ARC Raiders: Deciphering the Data quest guide

The Deciphering the Data mission takes place on the Spaceport map. Since you do not need to fight Arcs or farm for specific drops to finish it, we recommend using a Free Loadout. That way, you can complete the objectives without risking your valuable gear.

Objective overview:

• Use the Magnetic Decryptor in the Fuel Control building
• Reach the Arrival Building in Spaceport
• Use the Magnetic Decryptor on the top floor of the Arrival Building

How to complete the Deciphering the Data quest

1) Use the Magnetic Decryptor in the Fuel Control building

Deploy into Spaceport and head toward Fuel Control POI on the northeast side of the map. When you reach the main building, you will see two entrances. Take the one on the right and walk straight until you hit the back wall. You will find a panel there. Approach it, and you will see the "Decrypt Data" prompt, and interact to finish the first step.

2) Reach the Arrival Building and use the Magnetic Decryptor

For the second objective, you need to go to the Arrival Building POI in the northwest side of the map. Be careful, as this is a Red Zone with high-tier loot and great danger.

Enter through the door marked "Assembly Area 2." Once inside, take the first left, then immediately turn right to find the stairs. Go up to the next floor, and you will enter a hall filled with small counters. Move past them until you see a section lined with large machine panels. Look for the third machine on the right side. That is where you will find the final "Decrypt Data" prompt to complete the quest in ARC Raiders.
