President Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, has announced his engagement to his girlfriend and Florida socialite, Bettina Anderson.

On December 16, Donald Trump announced the engagement of his eldest son at the White House. Speaking about their engagement, Trump Jr. said:

"Not often that I'm in the loss of words, because we usually do the ranting and raving really well, but this is a little different. But I just want to wish all of you guys an incredible holiday season, a Merry Christmas, a very Happy New Year, and to thank Bettina for that one word, yes. You're not sure what the answer is gonna be. It was a little bit rough, but you said yes, so that's a big win for the end of the year."

He then handed over the mic to Bettina Anderson, who also shared a few words.

"Wow, what a privilege it is to be here in the White House. Mr. President, thank you so much for hosting this incredible party. And to our First Lady. These decorations, am I right? Are the most unforgettable weekend of my life, and I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world. So thank you, and thank you, stay here. Thank you," she said.

Bettina Anderson is a 39-year-old Florida socialite and the founder of a natural disaster relief fund, The Paradise Fund. Anderson spent most of her life in Palm Beach, Florida and is the daughter of Harry Loy Anderson.

Anderson was first spotted with Donald Trump Jr in August 2024. The couple have reportedly been dating for a year before announcing their engagement. Trump Jr and Anderson have an age difference of nine years, with the President's eldest son being 47 years old.

Donald Trump Jr and Bettina Anderson were first spotted together in August 2024 and have been together for a little more than a year. Before Anderson, Don Jr was married to Vanessa Trump and was also engaged to the former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. He shares five children with Vanessa, whom he divorced in 2018. Meanwhile, Guilfoyle and Don Jr got engaged in 2020 but split last year.

Although Trump Jr and Anderson first became public in August last year, they had reportedly been seeing each other since June, much before the president's son broke up with Guilfoyle. After Trump won the elections in November last year, Trump Jr's engagement with Guilfoyle was called off officially. The couple were then spotted celebrating Bettina Anderson's birthday in December last year at the Palm Beach.

Bettina Anderson has since then been spotted with Donald Trump Jr at multiple events, including Trump's inauguration in January this year. She also accompanied Donald Trump Jr and three of his children at the Super Bowl in February. In April this year, Anderson was spotted attending Don Jr's sister, Tiffany Trump's baby shower.

Speaking of their engagement, President Trump said at the White House:

"They get along very well, and they are just announcing through me that they’re getting married."

Bettina Anderson belongs to a well-known socialite family. Her father, Henry Loy Anderson, is a real estate and restaurant businessman and serves as the president of Worth Avenue National Bank. He was also the youngest bank president in the United States at 26 years. Anderson's mother, Inger Anderson, also runs a business, Palm Beach Groves.

Donald Trump Jr has yet to announce a date for his marriage to Anderson.
