The New York Knicks have perhaps the biggest celebrity fan base of any NBA team, but it's hard to find many more dedicated fans among them than actor Ben Stiller.

Stiller is a frequent face in the courtside crowd at Madison Square Garden throughout the regular season and the playoffs, and he can often be found live-tweeting during games when he isn't in the building.

Money isn't a problem for Stiller by any means, but he still has to pay a pretty penny to regularly attend Knicks games.

Here's a look at what Stiller pays for his Knicks tickets as New York rises back to prominence in the 2020s.

How much does Ben Stiller pay for Knicks tickets?

Stiller's exact price tag is unclear, but the New York Post reported in 2024 that the "celebrity row" tickets are invite-only, "based on [an individual's] broad approval and level of popularity." While celebrities can't just buy tickets on celebrity row, they do still have to pay for them once chosen.

"Prices are comparable to ordinary tickets in the area," the New York Post explained. What is that price? As of the 2024 playoffs, some courtside seats were as high as $30,000, the outlet reported.

In the regular season, courtside seats are worth "between $4,000 and $6,000 per game," according to Secret NYC, and that figure rises considerably in the playoffs, with the price tag reportedly coming in at $60,000 for the most coveted games.

Stiller doesn't attend every regular-season game, with ESPN reporting his work schedule allowed him to attend at least 10 of 41 regular-season games per year as of 2024, so he might only spend $50,000-$60,000 on Knicks tickets in a given regular season, but the playoffs likely cost him a price well into the six figures, depending on how far the Knicks go.

How much do Ben Stiller's seats cost?

A seat on celebrity row ranges from $4,000 to $6,000 in the regular season, according to Secret NYC. Celebrity Row is invite-only but celebrities still have to pay for their seats. In the playoffs, the price tag for a courtside seat can reportedly exceed $30,000.

Whether Stiller gets any kind of discount for being such a regular face and longtime fan of the Knicks isn't clear.

Does Ben Stiller have season tickets?

Despite being such a familiar face at Madison Square Garden, it's unclear whether Stiller has season tickets. He doesn't attend every regular-season game due partly to his work schedule, so it may not make sense for him to own season tickets, particularly when his fame and loyalty to the team allow him to easily secure tickets on celebrity row.

Stiller first became interested in the Knicks as a child when his father's friend owned season tickets in the 1970s.

"They had eighth row behind the Knicks’ basket, and so sometimes we would go and sit there with them," Stiller told The Ringer in 2025. "This was maybe like when I was 8 years old, 1973. So I remember being introduced to Phil Jackson and people like that, and since then I just started going."
