Mercy is in his second season of college basketball at Houston and has a consistent role off the bench. This season, he's averaging 5.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.6 steals per game.
On the season, Mercy is shooting 38.1% from 3-point range.
And he's got quite the family tree.

Percy Miller, aka Master P, has his son Mercy Miller playing for Houston in March Madness.
Master P frequently shares praise and excitement for his son on his social media accounts.
Mercy isn't actually the first basketball-playing Miller son, though.
Romeo Miller, who was a child star as an actor, eventually played nine college hoops games for the USC Trojans.
Hercy Miller, another Master P son, played college basketball at Tennessee State, then Louisville, then Southern Utah.
Mercy was the 56th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2024 and likely still has a strong college future ahead of him at Houston.
Master P also has a nephew, named Vyctorius Miller, who played last season at LSU and this season at Oklahoma State.

He's currently the president of basketball operations at the University of New Orleans.
