Master P is playing a role in March Madness.
That's because his son, Mercy Miller, is a key player for the 2-seed Houston Cougars.
Mercy is in his second season of college basketball at Houston and has a consistent role off the bench. This season, he's averaging 5.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.6 steals per game.
On the season, Mercy is shooting 38.1% from 3-point range.
And he's got quite the family tree.

Who is Master P's college basketball son?
Percy Miller, aka Master P, has his son Mercy Miller playing for Houston in March Madness.
Master P frequently shares praise and excitement for his son on his social media accounts.
Mercy isn't actually the first basketball-playing Miller son, though.
Romeo Miller, who was a child star as an actor, eventually played nine college hoops games for the USC Trojans.
Hercy Miller, another Master P son, played college basketball at Tennessee State, then Louisville, then Southern Utah.
Mercy was the 56th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2024 and likely still has a strong college future ahead of him at Houston.
Master P also has a nephew, named Vyctorius Miller, who played last season at LSU and this season at Oklahoma State.

Percy Miller, aka Master P, also has his own gig in college basketball.
He's currently the president of basketball operations at the University of New Orleans.
There has been some speculation that he could eventually become a high-profile coach himself.
