Misiorowski averaged 100.6 MPH on his four-seam fastball in 2026, the highest mark of any starting pitcher, according to Baseball Savant. Only relievers Mason Miller (101.4) and Edgardo Henriquez (100.7) came in higher than Misiorowski.

In fact, Misiorowski's average velocity was 2.3 MPH higher than any other full-time starter. Pittsburgh's Bubba Chandler (98.3) is second to Misiorowski. 

Velocity doesn't just extend to the fastball for Misiorowski. Among the 156 pitchers who threw at least 1,500 pitches in 2026, Misiorowski averaged the fastest cutter at 95.8 MPH, tied for the fastest slider at 91.8 MPH and finished second behind only Jared Jones with a 92.5-MPH changeup. Misiorowski threw 1,115 pitches of at least 100 MPH. Mason Miller, with 518, finished second, but the closest starter to Misiorowski was Bubba Chandler with 156.

Misiorowski has thrown 15 of the fastest 18 pitches in 2026 and 27 of the 34 pitches that came in at 104 MPH or higher. The Brewers ace's 105.5 MPH pitch to Pete Crow-Armstrong on June 26 comes in just behind Aroldis Chapman's record of 105.8 MPH.
