It was a move that most saw coming, just not as early, with the Kansas City Chiefs trading up to No. 6 with the Cleveland Browns to take LSU corner, Mansoor Delane.
With Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson moving on in free agency, the Chiefs had a need, and Delane was one player who the Chiefs had been mocked to in several mock drafts.
And it turned out to be correct, except not many would have had the Chiefs moving up to No. 6 to get the corner.
But now, with Delane in the building, the Chiefs' depth chart takes on an interesting look, with Delane easily a starter for Steve Spagnuolo.

Delane a starter for Chiefs
With Kristian Fulton, Nohl Williams, and Kaiir Elam, it is easy to see why Delane is now the starter for Spagnolo.
The Chiefs clearly had a need, and some thought that the franchise would be able to take Delane at No. 9, but the franchise clearly thought otherwise, as they traded up to make sure they got their guy.
Now, the secondary takes on a whole new look for the Chiefs.
The offseason will be fascinating to see how Delane will slot into Spagnuolo's defense, and I'd imagine the long-time defensive coordinator will certainly have a plan for him.
The Chiefs had a need, and they moved up to make sure they got the best corner in the draft.
