Kon Knueppel is the best shooter in the 2025 NBA Draft.
That alone is enough to mean he's got huge upside in the modern NBA, and that's the biggest reason the Charlotte Hornets picked him No. 4 overall on Wednesday night.
Frankly, he could be the second-best player in the entire draft behind his Duke teammate Cooper Flagg.
He had the best plus-minus in the entire NCAA in 2024-25, ESPN shared after the pick.
He's exactly the type of player the Hornets need. He'll do all the right things out on the court.

A perimeter with LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller and Knueppel is awesome.
But don't forget about what else Knueppel does well.
He's a lanky 6-foot-5 who actually defends rather solidly.
And offense, he attacks closeouts and drives to the basket with great efficiency, and he's a fantastic passer.
He's the perfect secondary option to go with Ball and Miller.
All of a sudden, the Hornets could be pretty fun.
