Honor unveiled its Magic9 flagship series in China, consisting of the Magic9, Magic9 Super Edition, and the range-topping Magic9 Pro Max. The regular Magic9 pairs a compact 6.37-inch 120Hz OLED with a huge 8,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and dual 200MP main and periscope cameras. The Magic9 Super Edition goes even further on battery capacity with an enormous 11,000mAh cell and adds a 30,000rpm active cooling fan.

The Magic9 Pro Max is the camera-focused flagship, powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. It features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED, an 8,800mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, and a camera system developed with ARRI. There's a 200MP 1/1.28-inch main camera, a 200MP 3.7x periscope, and a 50MP ultrawide, with support for ARRI LogC3 recording, 10-bit color, and Wide Gamut 3. Honor is also offering an optional 500mm teleconverter and SmallRig camera cage. All three phones are launching in China first, with international availability yet to be detailed.

Motorola's upcoming wide foldable could launch as the Razr Flex, according to a new leak. The device, codenamed Parker, is said to feature a compact 4.97-inch cover screen and a folding display measuring under 7 inches, making it notably smaller than most book-style foldables.

The Razr Flex is also tipped to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. Motorola has already teased the wide foldable, though its final name and launch date have yet to be confirmed.

A new leak suggests Samsung is reworking the Galaxy S27 Ultra's camera processing, aiming for more natural images with less aggressive sharpening, improved skin tones, and better low-light shots. The S27 Ultra is also rumored to get a redesigned camera layout, with a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 5x telephoto, while the 10MP 3x camera could be dropped.

The iQOO 16 is officially one of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6-bearing phones, adding its own Q4 gaming chip. The phone has a 6.85-inch 165Hz AMOLED and an 8,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. On the back are three 50MP cameras, including a 3x periscope telephoto, while other highlights include an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, USB 3.2, and IP68/IP69 protection. The iQOO 16 starts at CNY 5,999 ($894) for the 12GB/256GB model and is already on sale in China, with no word on global availability yet.

Meanwhile, from across the aisle, the OnePlus 16 will launch in China on October 12, packing the same elite SoC, a 200MP main camera, and a 165Hz system-wide refresh rate.

Nothing unveiled its first high-end Pro cans - the Headphone (1) Pro. It packs a triple-driver setup, titanium, aluminum, and glass build, 10-mic ANC, and up to 68 hours of battery life. They're available in black and white for $399/£349/€349.
