The Texas Longhorns baseball team will host its 39th NCAA Tournament baseball regional this week, starting with Friday's opener against Holy Cross (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network). The Horns are 29-4 at home this season and a favorite in the Austin Regional.
As for Holy Cross, the Patriot League champs advanced despite finishing the 13-13 in conference play this season. This is the Crusaders' 13th NCAA Tournament appearance with their last regional win back in 2017 against Nebraska.
