Bea was snatched from Trainor’s front porch during a brief moment he stepped away around midnight that month.

He told the Post the pooch usually shadowed him to the car or waited loyally on the porch, a routine they had shared for years.

“We had been doing it for so long, I thought nothing of it.” But that night they made their usual trip to the car yet when Trainor returned Bea was gone.

None of the neighbors’ Ring cameras captured any clues about who had snatched her.

Trainor spent years searching for her, handing out flyers and even launching a business featuring her likeness to keep her story alive.

Everything changed on March 30, when a friend spotted a Boston Terrier in an Instagram post from Wags & Walks, an LA rescue that had just pulled the dog from a city shelter.

The moment he saw the photo, the heartbroken dog dad instantly recognized Bea, commenting: “She’s 11 years old.. She was stolen from me three years ago.”

In a stunning twist of fate, Bea nearly found a new family just one day before Trainor discovered the post.

“The crazy part is someone who had wanted to adopt her was supposed to pick her up on Sunday, but canceled at the last minute. They just didn’t show.”

Their reunion unfolded Monday at the Wags & Walks Adoption Center, where the terrier had found temporary refuge after arriving at the shelter as a stray.

In an emotional post to his own Instagram, he thanked everyone involved in Bea’s homecoming and wrote: “Just got done crying. After 3 long years, I finally got the love of my life back.

“I can’t even put into words how grateful I am. It truly takes a village, and because of all of you, she’s finally home where she belongs.”

The years following Bea’s disappearance remain a mystery, with no answers about who cared for her or how she eventually wound up back on the streets before reaching the shelter.

Trainor told the Post their reunion felt as if no time had gone by. Bea led the way home, knew which apartment was theirs and remembered exactly where her bed was.

“She’s a little diva because she used to get an attitude with me back then, and I could tell she remembered and was a little mad.”

In an update to Instagram, Trainor posted a picture of an uninterested Bea alongside her equally unimpressed dog sibling and jokingly captioned: “Sibling rivalry has begun.”

The owner insisted he never let go of the hope that he would find her again.

Asked how Bea made her way back, Trainor said whether she broke free or simply wandered off, he is deeply grateful to the Good Samaritan who found her roaming the neighborhood and brought her in.

He added: “She was taken care of despite coming back a bit overweight, but overall, she’s in great health.

“I never stopped looking for her, but seeing her face on that Instagram post was a moment I can’t even describe.”
