The viral LA Lakers fan, Nicholas Dickason, who was seen talking to Dallas Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont, discussed it between the two of them. On Tuesday, the Mavericks fired general manager Nico Harrison after the team's 3-8 start to the 2025-26 season. Before Harrison was fired, Dumont sat courtside and talked to the disgruntled Mavs fan on Monday's 116-114 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
This season, Dallas' plan with Anthony Davis and the rest of the Mavericks has not worked out well. Injuries have marred the team, while Luka Doncic and LA are enjoying an 8-3 start.
On Instagram, Dickason addressed what he talked about with Dumont at courtside.

Dickason is among the fans who are still upset that the franchise superstar was traded. Early in the game against Milwaukee, he reportedly flipped off the team owner. But he approached Dumont to apologize for his actions.

All eyes were on the Lakers' star after the Mavericks fired Harrison. On Tuesday, the team didn't have a scheduled game. However, the franchise posted a video of Doncic's dunk against the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, minutes after Dallas moved on from the executive.
The day before, Los Angeles beat the Hornets 121-111. Doncic led the Lakers with 38 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
In his first full season with the Lakers, the five-time All-Star is having one of the best campaigns of his career. He's averaging 37.1 ppg, 9.4 rpg and 9.1 apg through the first seven games of the season. The Purple & Gold team has had one of the most competitive starts this season thanks to his excellent play.
