A top WWE superstar and one of CM Punk's biggest rivals in recent times claims that he is gone from WWE and won't be returning. This was during his most recent promo on SmackDown.
It's important to note that this statement was made in character and that CM Punk is, in fact, expected to return at some point. While it's unclear whether he's going to be heading to Riyadh for Night of Champions 2025, he is very likely to be back at some point.
However, according to his big rival, Seth Rollins, CM Punk is gone and won't be returning, courtesy of his faction involving Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. He said that Sami Zayn is in the dirt, Punk stood in their way and he's now gone, and that Roman Reigns stood in the way and his now missing in action (MIA).
As we said, Punk is bound to return sooner rather than later. The specific moment that Rollins was likely referring to was the most recent Saturday Night's Main Event, where "Big" Bronson Reed made his unexpected return and took Punk and Sami Zayn out.
The destruction caused by Bronson Reed left no doubt in Seth Rollins' mind that Punk won't be coming back.
However, we all know how it works in wrestling.
