Hailee Steinfeld Details Her, Josh Allen's First Days With Baby Girl
Hailee Steinfeld is throwing a flag on this habit.
As the Sinners actress navigates the early days of motherhood after welcoming a baby girl with husband Josh Allen, she revealed whether their family eats dinner in front of the TV or at the dining table.
"I think it's a mixture of both," Hailee told Architectural Digest in an interview published April 7. "The preference is not in front of the TV."
"I value a meal away from technology, and even if it's just the two of us," she said, "if it's us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal."
For the Buffalo Bills quarterback and the Pitch Perfect actress—who split their time between Western New York and California—quality time is essential in their home. And sometimes, it's thanks to a new gadget.
"We just got a new coffee machine," she revealed. "I'm not the biggest coffee drinker, but I really do appreciate the ritual of it."
"There's something about just watching my husband on a slower morning—when he has time to make himself a coffee," she continued, "that grounding, small act of care before the day begins. I love that."
Hailee—who tied the knot with Josh in May 2025—also shared a glimpse into preparing their newborn's nursery.
"I have been going back and forth on so many details—more than I care to admit—but it really has been such a fun part about getting ready for this new season of life," she explained, emphasizing that they wanted their home to feel "bright and airy and comfortable."

"Lighting is a big thing for me—warm, soft lighting," she continued, adding that she wanted their space to be somewhere "you could spend hours in and not get tired of."
Hailee—who announced the birth of their daughter on April 2—revealed that she and Josh even decided to begin a small collection of sentimental items to display in their home.
"It's this porcelain, hand-painted sleeping pig that we brought home from the place we got married, and it represents prosperity and good fortune, and it's also just so beautiful,” she shared. "I just love it, and we have a few of them around the house."
