Blake Shelton Shares Glimpse Into Farm Life With Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani is grateful for all she has in this life—no doubt.
In fact, the 56-year-old recently shared her experience of getting pregnant with her and ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s third son Apollo at age 43.
“I was desperate,” the No Doubt singer recalled on Hallow March 5. “I really wanted to have another baby. I really did. And I couldn't and I was old. And then my oldest boy, Kingston, comes up to me. He's like, ‘Mommy, I just I really want you to have a baby.’ I said, ‘I'm sorry, your mommy's too old to have a baby now.’”
Kingston—who was eight years old at the time—prayed on her behalf, she noted, “Like, ‘Please God, let my mom have a baby.’ And I was just sitting there going, ‘Wow, look at my little boy. He’s praying for me.’”
Gwen—who is also mom to son Zuma, 17, with Gavin—explained she hadn’t asked or taught him to do so, but that he prayed every night for her.
“I think it was like four weeks later and I was pregnant with Apollo,” she explained, “who I had at 44-years-old, naturally—totally a full-on gift.”
She looks back on the events, she said, as a “miracle.”
And when Apollo turned 12 on Feb. 28, the magic of his birth still hadn’t worn off, with Gwen writing on Instagram, “I thank GOD for u everyday. love u sooo much.”

The accompanying carousel of images showed Apollo throughout his life, from baby photos to more current snaps with his friends.
Gwen also included a picture of her youngest alongside her husband Blake Shelton, with whom she tied the knot in 2021. In the snap, a young Apollo stands onstage with Blake—headphones protecting his ears—as the country singer plays the guitar.
And indeed, Blake and Gwen’s life together has been hitting the perfect note, with Blake recently sharing rare insight into their life on their Oklahoma farm.

“This year, we decided we're gonna do some actual, real professional gardening—farming-type stuff out here,” The Voice judge said in a March 4 Instagram video. “Me and my wife, her name's Gwen.”
And Blake couldn’t help but poke fun at the pop star, adding a throwback photo of his wife in braces. The embarrassing photo was included in jest, however, as the 49-year-old has been candid about his love for his wife.
“Happy Valentine’s Day @gwenstefani,” he wrote on X in February alongside a picture of himself kissing her on the cheek. “My favorite person.. I love you pretty girl!!!!!”

Let the Rumors Begin
"I think he's hot, don't you? But to be super honest, it is kind of crazy we both went through the same thing at the same time. There's been so many people that I've gotten so much comfort from. Just people coming to me and telling me their story. Not confiding, but sharing, which has just helped me see things from a different perspective and move forward." —Gwen to Ryan Seacrest in November 2015

A Hand to Hold
"I think she's kept me from going to the absolute bottom. It was like literally falling off a cliff and a hand reached out and caught me, is what it feels like.
