The Cleveland Guardians are open for business.
But there are four players they don't plan on trading before the deadline.
That's what ESPN's Buster Olney reported Friday as new intel on Cleveland's plans.
The four untouchables, per Olney:
- Jose Ramirez
- Steven Kwan
- Emmanuel Clase
- Cade Smith
Clase and Kwan have been the two more popular names of that group in rumors, but if Olney's reporting is correct, Cleveland will be keeping this core together, at least until the offseason.

This means that the likes of Lane Thomas, Carlos Santana, Bo Naylor and Hunter Gaddis could all be available after trade speculation has included them.
Cleveland has a cupcake schedule to start the second half, which could go a long way toward determining whether the Guardians turn into mainly buyers or sellers.
But at least Cleveland fans can breathe a bit easier, as it sounds like the superstars are probably staying put.
