The Cleveland Guardians already knew it, but they got some added proof on Sunday.
They won the Kyle Manzardo trade.
Manzardo stepped in the box against Aaron Civale on Sunday afternoon in Chicago. It's been two years since they were traded for one another.
Clearly, Cleveland had already won, because that deal was with the Rays, and Civale had already moved on to the Brewers and then the White Sox.
It was even more clear when Manzardo went deep for a three-run homer off Civale.

And then, someone could be heard in the Cleveland dugout yelling, "We won the trade."
Yes, yes they did.
