The second part of Grow a Garden's Christmas update was rolled out on December 13, 2025, introducing new pets, crops, cosmetics, and other items. Among these additions is the Yeti, a new critter that features an exclusive ability and aesthetic appeal.

What does the Yeti do in Grow a Garden?

The Yeti is a newly added Divine-tier pet with an overpowered passive ability: It occasionally consumes a fruit with a minimum of 16 mutations to summon the Yeti Night weather. It must be noted that this critter ignores "favorited" fruits. What makes the Yeti special is the fact that it is the first pet to spawn a weather in the game.

However, players cannot ignore the fact that this critter will take away a fruit with 16 mutations for the weather to activate. This somewhat depreciates the Yeti's value, as mutated fruits sell for lucrative prices in the market.

How to get the Yeti in Grow a Garden

The Yeti is an event-exclusive pet that can be acquired from the Christmas Egg. You have a 1% chance of getting this Divine-rarity pet from this Egg. The critter can be obtained in two ways:

1. You will receive a random-rarity Gift every 10 minutes from the Elf House after submitting the required number of Christmas-mutated plants to fill up the bar. You can get the Christmas Egg from these Gifts.
2. You can buy the Premium Christmas Egg from the Shop for 149 Robux. It is worth noting that players buying it from the shop will get the Festive variants of the pets in the Egg, which are more valuable.

All this said, we recommend focusing on getting the other pets in the Christmas Egg, since the Yeti's ability can be a liability.
