Is this idiot still running stairs?
Hope Saleh’s defense pitches a shutout
I'm not a follower and because of that I'm probably one of the only Jets fans that still stand on that Robert Saleh hill. He wasnt perfect by no means but the org caused his failures. He's well respected around the league while the Jets are not. That says everything.
Hope he has a terrible day
Saleh served as the Green Bay Packers' offensive coordinator for the remainder of the season after being fired by the Jets last October. He was hiredby the 49ers as their defensive coordinator.
Robert Saleh praised New York rookie Jaxson Dart ahead of Giants showdown
One of the factors behind Robert Saleh's firing was the Jets' offensive failures. Saleh, who didn't receive consistency from the quarterback room during his tenure, praised New York Giants rookie Jaxson Dart.
Man, they hit the jackpot on this kid. The jackpot,” Saleh said. “He just has a Mahomes-esque quality. I’m just telling you, he is freaking good.”
Saleh went as far as comparing Dart to three-time Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes.
"He’s definitely got the ‘it’ factor,” Saleh said. “He doesn’t flinch. The game’s not moving too quick for him. His ability to keep his eyes downfield when he scrambles — like his off-schedule stuff — is every bit of Mahomes.”The 49ers DC also believes the Giants have the right man in Brian Daboll to develop Dart.
"He’s got the personality to handle New York,” Saleh said. “It’s pretty cool. I’m pumped for Daboll. Brian shouldn’t be going anywhere. I think they just need to allow this kid to grow, and Daboll is way more than capable of developing this young man to be the quarterback that he can be for the Giants.’’The 49ers are 5-3 for the season and will be looking to improve their record with a win against a struggling Giants.
