The “Wuthering Heights”-inspired tour has commenced.

Actress Margot Robbie began her promotional tour of the coming film with an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday, wearing a black lace Alexander McQueen dress that’s a dark homage to her on-screen character.

Playing Catherine Earnshaw to Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff, Robbie brought the gothic novel’s character to life with a sheer embroidered lace dress that featured a high neck and chest cutout with ruffles along the neckline.

The dress featured a high-low hemline, hitting her mid-thigh in the front and trailing behind her with ruffled layers in the back and the long, slightly belled sleeves were also a nod to the mid-19th century story.

The Aussie actress, 35, pulled her blond hair back in a crimped, romantic half-ponytail and finished off her look with gorgeous heeled black sandals, also by McQueen, featuring a rosary bead embellishment along the ankle.

The day before, Robbie slipped into an equally Victorian-inspired Roberto Cavalli black dress with bell sleeves and a super-short hemline.

In pics posted by stylist Andrew Makumal, the “Wolf of Wall Street” star’s Christian Louboutins black patent heels were decidedly more extreme, boasting impossibly high heels that measured 130mm — more than five inches on a steep incline.

She wore her hair in the same crimped style and added a black velvet choker with an oversized pendant.

Robbie and Elordi also debuted matching gold rings by Cece Jewellery, custom made with a skeleton couple surrounded by roses and thorns and the book’s most famous quote.

The baubles were a gift from Robbie to Elordi, the designer tells Page Six Style exclusively.

“The rings symbolize Heathcliff and Catherine, and a love that transcends time,” the jeweler explains, adding, “The skeletons are positioned exactly as they appear on the iconic film poster, entwined with roses and thorns, representing passion, beauty, and heartbreak.”

She added, “Engraved within is Emily Brontë’s timeless quote, ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same,’ alongside C&H on either side, a quiet tribute to two characters, and two souls, bound together forever.’”

Cece Fein-Hughes is a British jeweler who not only crafts beautifully hand-painted gold rings, pendants, and more, but has also gained popularity among the celebrity set recently, designing custom creations for the likes of Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadi and Kendall Jenner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna and many more

From “The Substance” to “Wicked,” “Marty Supreme,” “Challengers” and more; method dressing has become quite the trend over the past few years when it came to the cast press tour wardrobes.

In fact, it could be said that Robbie and her inimitable stylist kick-started the movement during the promotional tour of 2023’s “Barbie” in which she played the title role. Her spot-on looks even lead to a coffee table book breaking down the red carpet outfits.

With the Emerald Fennell-directed movie hitting theaters on Valentine’s Day, we can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring for the real-life Catherine and Heathcliff.
