Google's next fitness tracker, the Fitbit Edge, leaked earlier this month, and then we also got rumored pricing for it as well as its full specs a few days later.

Now, Google has finally acknowledged the existence of the device, and started teasing it on X, where it also revealed the Edge's launch date: October 12.

That's in just a couple of days, so the wait is almost over. According to the aforementioned leaks, the Fitbit Edge has a 1.34-inch AMOLED screen, 7-day battery life (down to 2 days with the Always-on display on), 40 built-in exercise modes, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and personalized coaching with Gemini.

It will track your steps, distance, heart rate, calories burned, sleep, menstrual cycle, skin temperature, and will detect atrial fibrillation, irregular heart rhythms, cardiac load, your fitness level, and VO2 max thanks to its many sensors. The device will be 5ATM and IP68 rated for water resistance. It's allegedly 11.58mm thick, 39.22mm tall, and 25.56mm wide, while weighing 17.7g.

It's rumored to cost €179 in the Eurozone, and £159 in the UK, and will be offered in Obsidian & Matte Black, Olive & Satin Pyrite, Canyon & Champagne Gold, and Fog & Polished Silver.
