Golden State Warriors vs San Antonio Spurs Starting Lineups Tonight (Nov. 12) | 2025-26 NBA Season

close

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs will meet for the first time on Wednesday at the Frost Bank Center. The Warriors enter this clash with a 6-6 record, losing five of their last seven games. On the other hand, the Spurs are 8-2, coming off a three-game winning streak.

While they have the momentum, the Warriors are desperate to turn the tide around and avoid being under .500, especially after a 4-1 start this season. Golden State has come out on top in such games, so despite the Spurs being overwhelming favorites, this could be a close game.

The oddsmakers have the Spurs as 4.5-point favorites to win. Victor Wembanyama and Steph Curry will be the decisive factors in this clash. Curry hasn't been at his best in his last three appearances, failing to shoot 40.0% or better. He'll be keen to break out of his slump.

Meanwhile, Wembanyama is back to his unstoppable ways after a lean stretch. If he can beat the Warriors' defensive plan for him, it won't be a close game.

Golden State Warriors starting lineup

The Golden State Warriors could retain their regular starting lineup with Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler in the backcourt, Jonathan Kuminga at small forward, Draymond Green at power forward and Quinten Post at center.

Curry dealt with an illness and missed three games before returning on Tuesday against the Thunder. His status is uncertain, so the Warriors might start Brandin Podziemski if he sits. Curry said he "will try" to play, so it remains to be seen if he suits up.

Al Horford will make his return after missing Tuesday's contest with a toe injury. Horford isn't playing back-to-backs this season.
