Golden State Valkyries vs Las Vegas Aces game summary

The Aces established their dominance early on by getting off to a 27-14 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the opening 10 minutes of the game, Las Vegas looked sharp with their perimeter game as scorers like Loyd and Young poured in the buckets. On the defensive end, the Aces put even more pressure on the Valkyries in the second quarter, limiting the road team to just 11 points in that frame.

In the second half, Golden State had a better showing in terms of scoring production. The Aces, however, kept in step and maintained control of the game on both ends of the floor. Despite losing the fourth quarter 27-25, Las Vegas was able to lean on the early cushion that they'd built to secure the 24-point victory.
