A WWE legend has just given their take on the recent lawsuit filed against Jon Moxley and AEW. They believed that the situation was going to cost Moxley & Co. a lot of money.
Former AEW production member Christopher Dispensa has filed a lawsuit against Moxley for civil assault, battery, and major negligence due to a ringside incident in 2023. During his Steel Cage match with Kenny Omega, Mox went off-script and shoved Dispensa, who was part of the ringside crew. He revealed that this incident resulted in him needing surgery and treatment for injuries.
During his appearance on Wrestling Observer Live, Lance Storm talked about the situation, noting that what Jon Moxley did was going to cost them a lot of money. He talked about how it may seem like the shove would not result in grave injuries, but Christopher Dispensa may have medical records to back up his claim. Storm believed that things were not looking good for the company.
"You can’t shove production people like that. So there’s definitely a wrong committed that’s probably going to cost them a lot of money. The bump did not look like requiring neck and shoulder surgery, but I’m presuming that he will have some medical records to back up his case. Dude took a decent bump so it’s probably not looking good," Storm said. [H/T TJR Wrestling]R-Truth wanted to 'kill' former WWE writer. More details HERE
