Don’t call her ma’am.

Lara Spencer jokingly scolded “The Night Agent” star Gabriel Basso for the one-word title he gave her during their sit-down interview on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday.

After discussing Season 2 of Basso’s Netflix action series, Spencer praised the actor for being “so authentic.”

“That’s why people love you, you’re very true to yourself and true to your craft,” the journalist said. “Everything I’ve read about you has just been incredibly complimentary, and the show speaks for itself. It is a pleasure to meet you. I hope you’ll come back.”

As Spencer wrapped up the interview by promoting “The Night Agent” once more, she looked at Basso and said, “Come back, please.”

“Yes ma’am,” Basso responded — which sparked a big reaction from Spencer.

She threw up her arms and laughed while saying, “Don’t call me ma’am.”

Someone off-camera was heard saying “Oh!” about the exchange.

The broadcast then cut to a commercial, robbing fans of seeing Basso’s reaction.

But overall, things went swimmingly between Spencer and Basso during their 4-minute interview about “The Night Agent.”

The chat began with Spencer shaking Basso’s hand and congratulating him on the success of his show.

“Gabriel Basso in the house,” Spencer said as the audience cheered.

“It’s so nice to meet you in person. I’ve heard great things and of course I’ve seen the show,” the TV anchor gushed.

Basso plays FBI agent Peter Sutherland in the popular series, which premiered its first season on Netflix in March 2023.

“I don’t think I’ve ever played a character like this as an adult,” Basso told the Post when the series came out.

The former child actor added, “This was the first role as an adult where I sort of was put in positions that I hadn’t been in before — a lot of action stuff, which was cool, because I love all that.”

At the end of 2023, Netflix announced that “The Night Agent” was the most-watched show of the year, claiming subscribers spent 812 million hours watching the 10-episode FBI drama.

It topped the list above “Ginny & Georgia: Season 2,” “The Glory,” “Wednesday,” and “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”

Aside from “The Night Agent,” Basso is also famous for playing Vice President-elect JD Vance in Netflix’s 2020 film “Hillbilly Elegy.”
