Giants seven-round 2026 NFL Mock Draft: Big Blue bolsters defense with first selection

When the countdown dips inside one month, it is time.

Time to start mocking.

The NFL draft opens up April 23 with the first round and so we are nearing the stretch run. There are Pro Days for the Giants to attend and prospects to bring into the team facility for visits. The draft board is up and running but nothing is set in stone. Player evaluations can fluctuate in the coming weeks.

The Giants own the No. 5 overall pick and they can go in many different directions. Offensive playmaker, offensive lineman, defensive playmaker. With John Harbaugh entrenched as the head coach, the tone and tenor of this draft could look and feel different for the Giants. And so, any prognostications about the type of athletes and players the Giants will select must factor in Harbaugh’s vision for the roster.
