Giants' Russell Wilson locks in his new jersey number

New York Giants fans can start purchasing their Russell Wilson jerseys now.

The newly signed quarterback has locked in his uniform number for the 2025 season.

Wilson, who has worn No. 3 for his whole NFL career, needed to make a swap upon joining the Giants.

Defensive back Deonte Banks formerly wore No. 3, but Wilson made a deal and now has his beloved 3 for himself.

Banks had previously worn No. 25, then dropped down to No. 3 for the 2024 season.

This season, Banks will rock No. 2, which most recently belonged to QB Drew Lock.

The single-digit numbers are certainly trending, but Wilson has had his all along and gets to keep it in his new home.
