The San Francisco Giants have performed better than expected this season. The addition of Willy Adames has paid off thus far, and they also recently acquired Rafael Devers.
However, they could have another move up their sleeves. There are needs that must be addressed.
They could use another bat, as well as another rotation arm.
Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report proposed a wild hypothetical deal that has them acquiring Ryan O'Hearn and Zach Eflin from the Baltimore Orioles in a three-way trade with the Cleveland Guardians.
"If one thing is for certain heading into the deadline, it's that the Giants are going to add at least one starting pitcher. They didn't trade for Rafael Devers just to let Landon Roupp, Hayden Birdsong and the artist formerly known as Justin Verlander pitch them to narrowly missing the postseason," Miller wrote.

Eflin is having a difficult season with the Orioles. The 31-year-old right-hander is 6-5, but has a 5.95 ERA in 12 starts.
However, a change of scenery and a move to a contending team might help him bounce back. San Francisco is a more pitcher-friendly environment, so he could potentially find his groove there.
O'Hearn on the other hand is putting together a solid year at the plate and would significantly boost the Giants lineup. He's slashing .294/.382/.472 with 11 home runs, 30 RBI and an .855 OPS
The Giants are 6 1/2 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West, but are only a half-game behind the San Diego Padres in the Wild Card race.
Their playoff chances are very much alive as the month of June comes to a close. It will certainly be interesting to see how they operate at the trade deadline.
