Desperate times call for desperate measures.

A ball was hit into foul territory in a 1-1 ball game, but Giants' Mike Yastrzemski knew the significance of getting every out that he possibly could.

He made an impressive run from right field into the seats in foul territory, jumping up into the netting to make the catch.

Sometimes, all it takes is a play like this to shift the momentum of a game, or even a series.

Yastrzemski had to be helped up by an umpire after the catch, but appeared to come away unharmed, despite the dangerous play he made.

Yastrzemski hasn't had the best season so far, but there's no doubt that catch will be a memorable one that you'll see on highlight reels in years down the line.

Through 95 games, Yastrzemski is batting .230 with 28 RBIs and 8 HRs.

With the Giants fighting for playoff positioning, it can be inspiring to see a teammate lay out for a catch like that, even if it wasn't necessary, as it was heading into the stands in foul territory.
