Giants' Heliot Ramos wild walk-off win comes on Little League home run as Rangers implode

The San Francisco Giants needed just one hitter to walk-off a tie game in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday evening.

No, it's not because Heliot Ramos left the yard. In fact, he didn't hit the ball out of the infield.

But the Texas Rangers imploded and threw the ball away twice, and at the end of the play, Ramos was sliding safely into home with a Little League home run.

The official ruling: An infield single for Ramos, a throwing error by pitcher Luke Jackson to send him to third, and a throwing error by first baseman Jake Burger to send him home.

This was the first run scored in the game since the fourth inning.

The Giants won despite being out-hit, 10-5.

It's just one of those baseball moments that's really hard to explain. Everything on this play went right for the Giants, and nothing went right for the Rangers.

This isn't the type of play you often see on an MLB diamond. But on Sunday, it's how a Major League Baseball game ended.

The Giants celebrated like they'd just hit a real home run. Winning a ballgame is fun, no matter how it happens.

The Rangers will want to quickly forget about this one. They went from ending the trip to San Francisco on a high note to ending it with a nightmare.
