Back on June 13 on "First Take", Stephen A. Smith appeared to discuss Giannis Antetokounmpo's future with the Milwaukee Bucks. While the future is murky, the success the "Greek Freak" has had on the court certainly cannot be debated.

But Smith certainly did his best to debate that. His words about Antetokounmpo:
"You don't look at somebody that dominant, that fantastic, with that kind of fire in his belly to compete on a night-in, night-out basis, and all you have is one championship to show for it."
He then used one word to describe Giannis's career if he does not win another championship. The word was an interesting one:
"Underachiever"
It appears Antetokounmpo has heard enough of that talk. He took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of his weight room, with a large display of his hardware from over the years in the NBA. His response was great:
"Under achiever my" (with an emoji of a peach and several crying faces).

— Oh No He Didn't (@ohnohedidnt24) June 30, 2025The 30-year-old has two NBA MVPs under his belt from the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He was an NBA Champion in 2021, and that season he also won the NBA Finals MVP. Antetokounmpo has been selected to the All-Star Game nine times in his career and won All-Star MVP in 2021. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2020 and has been on the All-NBA First Team seven times.
There has been talk about the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft wanting to move on from Milwaukee, citing concerns about whether they can remain competitive in the league moving forward. There is no doubt Giannis can still play at a high level. In the five-game series against the Pacers, he became the fourth player in NBA playoff history to record a 30/20/10 game, and the first to record 30/20/10/2/2 in a playoff game.
