The New York Yankees will have to hold their breath a little bit here.
Giancarlo Stanton left Friday night's game with an injury, and it's not totally clear how he's doing.
Stanton, the slugging DH, was on base and motioned to the dugout.
He was removed from the game with right calf tightness.
"Hopefully we got ahead of anything serious," Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after the game.

As of that moment, Boone added that Stanton didn't have any tests scheduled.
"He just motioned to me when he was on base, and then I think he didn't want to push it," Boone said.
Reporters also spoke to Jazz Chisholm Jr., who is heating up in a hurry.
"You don't want to risk it with that guy," Chisholm said of Stanton.

The reality is that the second half of Stanton's career has in some ways been defined by injuries.
Calf tightness doesn't sound like a huge deal, but baseball is a tricky game with quick-burst movements, and a muscular guy like Stanton can be susceptible to injuries like this. It's hard to know when a player might make it worse, too.
So far this season, Stanton is hitting .256 with three home runs and 14 RBI. He's the Yankees' everyday DH, aside from the off days they plan for him in advance just to ensure he stays fresh.
Now, unless the news turns around here, Stanton may be looking at some unplanned off days due to injury.
