Skin like a supermodel? We got this.

While skin care trends come and go, Medik8’s advanced science is often at the forefront of innovation. Plus, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Hailey Bieber are among the glowy celebs who are keen on the British beauty brand’s hero serums.

So when the most recent launch, Exo-PDRN Prismatic+, dropped, I thought it was time to give it a try. (We thought you might want to, too, so we have you covered with an exclusive 15% off code: POST15.)

As someone who gets the ick from the thought of applying salmon sperm derivatives (how most PDRN is made) to my face, I was interested in Medik8’s vegan take on the buzzy anti-aging ingredient, which helps ramp up collagen and elastin production. Spoiler: It lives up to the hype.

Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ is an unscented, clear serum that spreads easily. It’s not an overnight reveal, like a sleeping mask or peel; it’s gentle and non-irritating, so it needs a week or two for results to show up. But in my experience, it actually delivered what is promised: bouncier, smoother skin.

I’m also a fan of in-office treatments, but I’ve given up microneedling since using the Medik8 formula, which gives me smaller pores, more even tone and plumper skin, like the pricey in-office treatment.

Though it’s so gentle, it’s also made to be used in conjunction with certain procedures. So next time I do get a laser peel, I’ll be healing with Exo-PDRN Prismatic+.

I especially love using it after my favorite red light mask, when cellular metabolism is stimulated and skin care actives work even more efficiently.

The only con I’ve found is that it can be the slightest bit tacky before it’s fully absorbed, but it dissipates once dry. I’ve started slathering it on my neck, décolleté and even upper arms (with a little wish and a prayer). While it’s not very moisturizing on its own, my skin doesn’t need a heavy cream afterwards either.

I test skin care by only incorporating one new product at a time, and I’m impressed with the results, so I’ll keep using Exo-PDRN Prismatic+. It’s also got me curious to try other products from the line! (It can be layered with other serums and moisturizers, based on your skin goals.)

Several shoppers wholeheartedly agree with me and mention the same benefits. One wrote, “It gives the skin an immediate, healthy-looking bounce and a fresh clarity that has completely woken up my complexion.”

Another called it the “ultimate remedy for tired, aging skin” — and I couldn’t agree more.
