Germany fan Freddy going viral on X for incredible journey through U.S. South before World Cup

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is bringing fans from around the globe to North America, including the United States, to root on their favorite teams.

One particular fan, a guy named Freddy who is from Germany, has gone incredibly viral on X (formerly Twitter) for his journey through the American South.

Freddy has already eaten at a Waffle House at 1 a.m., which seems like a quality rite of passage.
