Gen Z turns on trendy $300 North Face puffer — just weeks after it was the hottest fashion item: ‘Everyone has this f—king jacket!’

Zoomers are huffing and puffing over this puffer.

Gen Z fashionistas are feeling buyer’s remorse over The North Face’s viral puffer jackets, claiming the too-trendy garment spoils every ensemble.

“I used to love my North Face but now I feel like it ruins every outfit,” content creator Ella Bunting wrote on a TikTok clip. “Is my frontal lobe developing?”

Creator Reina Dombrovska echoed similar sentiments in a recent video scoring more than 18 million views, writing a near identical statement while trying to style her puffer.

Like Bunting, she asked if her developed frontal lobe was to blame for her awakening about The North Face jacket.

“I mean its a nice coat but just can’t figure out how to wear it with my outfits,” she admitted in the comments, where she was met with backlash for saying she wants to be both “warm and stylish.”

“Once my 12 year old sister said she wanted one I was like nah time to put it away,” she added.

The North Face Nuptse Jacket, which retails for $300, went viral on social media among fashionistas who once looked forward to “Nuptse season” and raved about the new closet “staple.”

Even Kim Kardashian cashed in on the fad, releasing a limited edition collaboration with her brand SKIMS and The North Face. The neutral-hued collection featured a 2000 Retro Nuptse Jacket in a series of beiges and browns for $350, all of which are now sold out.

At the time — about a month ago — shoppers said they felt as if they had “damn won the lottery” after snagging items on their wishlist.

Now, just mere weeks later, TikTokkers have slammed the style, complaining about the jacket’s puffed look while attempting to flatten it.

Some are even going as to remove the brand’s logo stitched onto the coat “because everyone has this f–king jacket.”

Dombrovska declared that it makes the wearer look like a “teenager” and suggested trendier options from Aritzia, Uniqlo or Carhartt instead.

Some, however, criticized the remarks from Dombrovska, blaming her dislike for the coat on “trend cycles.”

“Actually the best frontal lobe development is realizing that you can wear whatever you want because warmth is the most important,” chided one person.

“North Face is not meant for fashion it’s meant to keep your warm in the most brutally cold weather,” someone else wrote.

In a video with more than 535,000 views, Natalie, a New York City stylist and mom, said that, while the ubiquitous puffer jacket has been around for years, its popularity among young people can be chalked up to fleeting trends.

While she admitted that the jacket is “timeless,” she warned prospective buyers — like her teenage son — to steer clear of “trend items.” The Nuptse, she added, is a “peak trend” piece.

“If you live in New York like we do, you walk around and you’ll see clumps of high school kids all wearing the same thing. You’ll see Midtown office execs wearing it, you’ll see it on the Upper West Side, downtown, everywhere,” she explained.

When a trend reaches “fever pitch” like that, she added, consumers will like it while it’s in style, then be “so over it” by the following year — or, in this case, within a few weeks.
