Aaron Glenn's job security — an ever-present topic of discussion among sections of the New York media — took a major hit following the Jets' shock 28-25 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
The result was a sour one for Glenn's side. Miami entered the game winless. New York, for all of its toils, was comfortable favorites against Jeff Hafley's bunch, having landed an impressive win against the Browns and competed well against playoff-caliber opposition like the Packers, Lions and Patriots.
A post-mortem of Sunday's outing wouldn't be complete without examining the Jets' struggles with giving the ball to its best offensive player — star wideout Garrett Wilson. The Ohio State man saw his target share tumble precipitously against Miami's porous defense, much to his chagrin.
Wilson couldn't help but show flaunt his disappointment with his standing in Sunday's game plan, appearing to fire bars at starting quarterback Geno Smith during a tense sideline encounter.
Here's what we know about Wilson and Smith's fracas.

Garrett Wilson's frustrations with Geno Smith caught on camera in Jets' loss to Dolphins
Video emerged late in Sunday's game showing Wilson and Smith locked in what appeared to be a heated confrontation.
The topic of discussion between the pairing wasn't immediately made public, although there's reason to believe it had something to do with Wilson's lack of usage during the contest. Wilson finished the game with just two catches for 26 yards. He was targeted just three times in the game.

— Glenn Naughton (@JNRadio_Glenn) October 25, 2026After the game, head coach Aaron Glenn admitted that New York didn't do enough to get Wilson involved in Sunday's game.
"A player of his magnitude, we have to do everything we can to try to get him the ball," Glenn said. "Again, I'm going to put that on myself."

— SNY Jets (@snyjets) October 25, 2026ESPN's Rich Cimini reported that Wilson and Smith were seen chatting with one another as they emerged from the showers after the game, suggesting that whatever the issue was between the two parties wasn't severe enough to inhibit their relationship long-term.
Nevertheless, Wilson's dwindling target share — he's been targeted just 10 times in New York's last two games — will be a cause for concern for Glenn and Co.
