NeigborDrop is built on a simple human insight: every day, people step out of their homes — often within minutes of someone nearby who needs help.

A neighbour heading to the grocery store, a quick pharmacy run, a small errand, or a short ride within the neighbourhood — these everyday moments become opportunities for connection rather than transactions.

“People aren’t tired of helping,” says Sunill Kumaar, Founder & CEO of FutureNexus Labs Inc. “They’re tired of feeling disconnected. NeigborDrop brings back something we’ve lost — the ability to rely on the person who lives 200 metres from you.”

The app connects neighbors within 100–1000 metres, prioritizing the same building, block, or community. A helper broadcasts when they’re heading out; someone nearby can request a quick pick-up. Helpers may receive a small reward for their time, while requesters save time and avoid delivery fees — keeping interactions simple, local, and community-first. Early adoption in Toronto’s condo neighbourhoods has been notable. Users describe NeigborDrop as “the first app that actually feels local” and “exactly what my building needed.” Many say they’ve met neighbors they never knew — simply because someone was already going to the store.
