Typically, I’d make fun of people who call their pets their “children.” Then I got one, and yeah, I get it now. They are my child. I have more photos of my pets on my phone than I do of my wife and me combined.
If I ever get a cat again, I’d have to start with a kitten just so I could document the whole glow-up journey from tiny menace to full-on furry roommate. Seeing all these kitten-to-cat transformations on this subreddit makes me miss my old cat a little extra.
