Each year, the tennis world comes to a head at the Stade Roland-Garros at the 2026 French Open.

This year's overall purse has risen 9.53% compared to the 2025 total, and the winners of the men's and women's singles tournaments will take home 9.8% more than the previous year's champions

This year, the purse that will be distributed among the tournament field's best will be north of $71 million (61.723 million euros), according to the ATP Tour website.

Competitors at the French Open will take home more money depending on how far they progress at the tournament. Since 2007, male and female participants have earned the same amount of prize money. Winners in the singles tournaments earn approximately $3.24 million this year.
