French basketball legend Nic Batum likely to retire from NBA after 25-26 season

A year after winning silver at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Nic Batum stated that the upcoming 25-26 NBA season will likely be his last.

Batum has played for the Trail Blazers, Hornets, Clippers, and 76ers in his 17 year NBA career so far.

Batum has played the non-star role pretty well throughout his career but is more known for his international play.

Batum's notable career moments

Batum medaled in two Summer Olympics, 2020 and most recently last year in 2024 in Paris. Team France took home silver medals in both years.

Aside from the years where he medaled at the Olympics, he also competed in London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Batum competed and won bronze medals at the 2014 and 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Batum medaled three times at the EuroBasket championships.

He also won gold in 2013, silver in 2011, and bronze in 2015.

In 1,131 career NBA games (73rd all-time for NBA) Batum has averaged 10.0 PPG, 4.8 RPG and 3.1 APG.
