Foundation Season 3 Episode 4 “The Stress of Her Regard” reveals that Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobell) has made time for love in between her cryosleep cycles, secret meetups to Brother Dawn (Cassian Bilton), and prepping the Second Foundation to face The Mule (Pilou Asbæk). That’s right. Gaal’s finally gotten over her first love, Raych (Alfred Enoch), and is shacking up with the Apple TV+ show’s newest heartthrob, Han Pritcher (Brandon P. Bell).
Not only has Han Pritcher actually been working in secret for the Second Foundation this whole time, but he’s hopelessly devoted to Gaal Dornick. In fact, he’s way more serious about the romance than she is and that could be because while she gets to kill time in cryosleep, Han’s got to pine for his love while she’s in strategic hibernation.
“Yes, that’s exactly it,” Foundation star Lou Llobell said. “I also think he’s like more of a romantic.”
“I think, for Gaal, she’s kind of letting herself have this little bit of happiness, but she knows that ultimately it’s gonna end because she’s going to sacrifice herself to kill the Mule. That’s her plan.”
That might be Gaal’s master plan, but that doesn’t mean that Han has to agree with it. In fact, Llobell pointed out that she thinks this is an ongoing sticking point for the otherwise happy couple.
“I think it’s a conversation they’ve had over and over and over of like, ‘I’m going to do this.’ And he’s, like, ‘But why? But I love you.'” Llobell acted out. “And she’s, like, ‘I love you, too, but we can’t do it. We don’t — This is not normal.’ You know?”
When DECIDER pointed out to Llobell that Han Pritcher is a rather dreamy love interest, she emphatically agreed.
“He’s so dreamy, isn’t he? So muscle-y!” she said, before going on to gush about her co-star even more.
“It was so fun. Brandon is wonderful. He’s such a lovely, good friend of mine now and we really get along so well and the chemistry was so easy with him,” Llobell said.
“He really took on that role really well of this big, strong man, but [he] lets her take the lead,” she continued. “I think that’s such a modern, gorgeous, ’empowering to women’ kind of relationship where he’s like, ‘You’re the boss.'”
Gaal Dornick might be the boss in the relationship, but Han Pritchard is Foundation‘s heartthrob.
